Daniel Kim

Dan is focused on sustainability and decarbonization of industry and transport sectors through advancement of scalable and deliverable ecosystems across the value chain. Dan was Chief Strategy & Sustainability Officer at NXT Clean Fuels, developer of SAF/RD production. Previously, Dan led the development of sustainable alternative energy platforms (synthetic fuel, electric and hydrogen) for Pilot Flying J, Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary and one of the largest travel center networks in North America.

Dan was also the former Chief Financial Officer of World Energy, industry leading producer and distributor of SAF, RD, and biodiesel and one of the first producers of sustainable aviation fuel in the world. Dan is a First Movers Fellow with Aspen Institute.  Dan has been active in the global energy sector for 25+ years in operating companies and financial institutions, which included ExxonMobil, Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, and Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group. Dan earned an MBA from Yale University and BS in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University.
